The wound is the place where the Light enters you – Rumi
This three-hour experiential workshop offers a taste of the practices that bring healing and connection to Israelis and Palestinians, Jews and Arabs, in times of deep conflict. Together, we explore what becomes possible when we meet pain with presence and difference with curiosity.
We’ll introduce core elements of the Healing Across Divides approach — including unblending, embodied awareness, and practices for creating safe spaces for dialogue and emotional expression. The session invites you to slow down, reconnect with your own humanity, and glimpse how healing can ripple outward — across divides of identity, belief, and experience.
After hearing Nitsan and Jawdat speak at our synagogue I was so impressed I attended all three events they did in the Chicagoland area. Jawdat’s openness, vulnerability and compassion created an atmosphere that laid the groundwork for participants to access those same attributes within ourselves. Then Nitsan heightened our experience of those qualities and made them relational through dialogue, movement and guided meditation. I wish we had these workshops in the US to help us heal our political divides!

This wonderful workshop at the IFSI Conference was an inspiring blend of playful exercises and a presentation of the award-winning work Nitsan and Jawdat have been leading in Israel, fostering dialogue and connection tween Palestinians and Jews. — Richard Schwartz PhD, IFS Institute
